WEEK 2
Topic:  Being a Nursing Assistant- The Role and Responsibilities/PPE
Our class size is growing and students are attending regularly. I am so impressed with how motivated you all are!  We will continue to get to know each by working in teams and interacting with each other.  Here is a quick view of the week:
Monday: New spelling words. New vocabulary words from pages 6 & 7 in your textbook.  Be sure to check  out the Spelling City and Quizlet websites!
Review the Handwashing steps.  Nursing skill: Putting on/Taking Off gloves.
Tuesday: read pages 6-7 in our textbooks and learn new vocabulary words.  Study Quizlet.  Manuel Gallegos, RN will be testing your nursing skills!
Wednesday: CASAS pre-test!  Please try to come to class on time! Grammar Review of Present tenses.  After break, we will go to the Computer Lab! You will have an opportunity to do grammar review on ESL websites and software in addition to reviewing our Course website. 
Thursday: review for the spelling, vocabulary and grammar test.
